What to write to the DJ
The more the DJ knows, the faster you get an answer and a price that fits. Copy the message and change what's in [brackets].
- The date, and from when to when the DJ should play
- Where the party is, and roughly how many guests you'll be
- The occasion and the music, including what you don't want to hear
- Whether the DJ should bring sound, lights and a microphone for speeches
- What it costs including travel, and whether there's a deposit

How we keep djbasen honest
Any DJ can create a free profile. That's why we have a few rules, and you can always tell us if something looks wrong.
Only complete profiles
A DJ is shown only when the profile has a name, a photo, a town, music, occasions and a way to contact the DJ.
Verified means checked
The badge means we've checked that the DJ exists and works as a DJ. It's not a guarantee of quality, so always talk to the DJ first.
Anyone can report a profile
Press “Report profile” if something seems wrong. We review every report and can hide a profile that breaks the rules.
Contact details show on a click
Phone numbers and email addresses are only fetched when you click, so bots can't collect them.

Not yet. djbasen helps you find the DJ. You agree on the date, the price and the details directly with the DJ, and we are not a party to the agreement. Read more in the terms of use.
Search by place and occasion, and filter by genre, music culture, number of guests, language, equipment and budget. You only see DJs who travel to the place you search for.
Some DJs show what a typical event costs, for example "6,000–14,000 kr.". It's a guide, not a quote. If the DJ is registered for VAT, the price includes VAT. You agree on the final price with the DJ.
When you filter by budget, you see DJs whose price fits your budget. DJs without a price are shown too, unless you choose "Only DJs with prices".
So bots can't collect numbers and email addresses from the page. When you click, the detail shows at once. The DJ can see how many people clicked, but not who.
